Board of Trustees
The members of the Halswell College Board of Trustees represent a wide cross section of the community and are dedicated to ensuring the Student Achievement Objectives of the College as written in the Charter are realised.
They encourage the active participation of the parents and caregivers of new students in our College and extend a warm welcome to you and your child as part of our College community.
The Board of Trustees is elected to govern the College in accordance with the principles of our School Charter. Parents of the College elect five members who serve a three year term. All parents of the College are eligible for election and in addition the staff elects one member. Both the Principal and Day School Principal are Board Members. The Board of Trustees also has the option to co-opt up to four other members.
