Reports and Individual Education Programmes
Reports
When a student is enrolled, regular reports on his progress will be sent back to the home community. These cover all aspects of the student's development and are written by both teacher and social worker. An initial report is completed at three months, then reports will be sent at six monthly intervals. The individual transition plan will be developed before starting at the College and will be reviewed at each IEP.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Essential skills goals are written to meet the individual needs of each student. IEPs are comprehensive documents that are written by the LABS team prior to enrolment, then reviewed three months after enrolment and then six monthly thereafter, with input from the caseworker, teacher, parent/caregiver, student, family support worker, liaison teacher and other on-site specialists.
